History

Daniel Van Riet joined Régnier as a watchmaker in 1974, having just graduated from Arts&Métiers.
This initial professional experience allowed him, driven by a personal ambition to hone his craft on the finest mechanical watches, to set up his own company in 1980.

Over the course of his career, he has acquired the highest level of watchmaking expertise:

  • Patek Philippe levels 1, 2, 3 – advanced A, B, C, D, E but above all more than 40 years of collaboration with the Manufacture as an approved workshop up to the perpetual calendar, World Time Chronograph, etc.
  • Vacheron Constantin : extra-flat, perpetual calendar, skeleton.
  • Blancpain : complications and grand complications right up to the tourbillon.
  • FP Journe : octa, resonance, swirl.
  • Audemars Piguet : right down to the equation of time!
